Claude R. Vargo

Vice President - Operations

As Vice President - Operations, Claude Vargo leads the day-to-day operations of PKF Hospitality Research, an affiliate of PKF Consulting. Claude brings more than 20 years executive experience in hospitality real estate, operations, development and ownership to the practice. As a franchisee and an independent entrepreneur, Vargo spent several years in brokerage and appraisal and is designated as a Certified Hospitality Educator (C.H.E.) by the American Hotel & Lodging Association.

Claude graduated summa cum laude (undergraduate) and magna cum laude (graduate) from the Hilton College at the University of Houston. Both of his degrees are in Hospitality Management. He attended the Hotel School at Cornell University with emphasis in hotel finance and real estate and is a recognized international scholar. Claude has delivered numerous presentations and published several articles on an array of subjects including hospitality benchmarking.
