PKF Consulting's experience in hotel operations and finance enables us to evaluate marketing strategies, operating expenses, and debt structure to recommend courses of action for increasing both profits and asset value. We assist in hotel chain selection, choosing and monitoring management companies, negotiating management contracts and franchise agreements, and on total portfolio management, including acquisition and disposition of hotel properties. Real Estate Appraisals and Business Valuation Real estate appraisal services represent a significant portion of the professional service we currently perform. With MAI (Member Appraisal Institute) and CRE (Counselor of Real Estate) professionals on staff, we are able to perform appraisals of all types of real estate assets. Our primary clients are banks and other financial institutions, the majority of whom require that their appraisals comply with recognized industry standards and appraisal reporting requirements. Among the well-known properties we have appraised are the Coco Palms Resort on Kauai, Trump's Castle Casino in Atlantic City, and The Lodge at Pebble Beach in Carmel, California. Full-service hotel appraisals include The Four Seasons in New York City, Le Meridien in Chicago, and the Regal Biltmore in Los Angeles. In addition, we have special expertise in appraising large numbers of properties for a single client. Market and Financial Feasibility Studies Evaluating the market and financial feasibility of a hotel, resort, conference or convention center, golf course, or other hospitality or recreational project prior to making a major financial commitment is perhaps the most important aspect of sound decision-making. PKF Consulting sets the standard for market and financial feasibility studies.
