Charlotte Kang, MAI, MRICS, is a Vice President with PKF Consulting based in the Atlanta, Georgia office. She conducts and manages diverse assortment of consulting and appraisal assignments that involve the public and private sectors, single asset and complex portfolio projects. Leading the development of complex financial analysis of large-scale projects and appraisals of portfolio acquisitions, Ms Kang makes recommendations for the development program and scope of facility for new, proposed and/or re-positioned hospitality assets.
The majority of her professional experience has been focused in the hospitality and lodging industry in the Southeast Region of the United States, the Caribbean Basin and Central America, including lodging facilities of all types and tiers, resorts, mixed or multi-use developments, and large master-planned projects including lodging, residential, vacation ownership, spa, marina, golf, retail, office and/or other complementary components. She also has extensive international experience in various Asian countries, which include Malaysia, Singapore and South Korea.
Ms. Kang holds the MAI designation awarded by the Appraisal Institute (“AI”). She is on the AI’s Experience Review Panel and played an instrumental role in AI’s China membership expansion. She is also a General Certified Appraiser for the State of Georgia and a designated member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (“MRICS”). She is an active member with the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
Ms. Kang holds a B.S. Degree in Estate Management with First Class Honours (summa cum laude), from the University of Greenwich, United Kingdom. She has also completed a postgraduate diploma, the Certified Diploma in Financial Management (“CDipFM”) at The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
