Mr. Fonde is Director of Asset Recovery and Investment Services. While part of the Atlanta practice, Mr. Fonde is based in the Jacksonville office. He has more than 30 years of hospitality experience, both in consulting and in all aspects of development, operations, and ownership.
Before joining PKF, Mr. Fonde was President of Baymeadows Management Corp., and also served as Senior Vice President and Director of Development for Landcom Hospitality Management, Inc. for 23 years. During this period he was involved in more than 60 hotel projects as developer, owner, and operator of many brands, recently specializing in Hilton and Marriott products. Mr. Fonde has served as court-appointed receiver and has testified in litigation and bankruptcy matters in Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee and Louisiana. In 2010 he received the Developer of the Year Award from Hilton Worldwide for the innovative dual brand Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites in downtown Jacksonville. Mr. Fonde began his career in hospitality with Holiday Inns, Inc. in 1980. He is a long-term member of the Jacksonville-Duval County Tourist Development Council, and he served as Chairman of the Cruise Ship Lodging Committee for Super Bowl XXXIX.
Mr. Fonde holds a B.A. from Rhodes College and M.B.A. from Jacksonville University.
