Jeff Lugosi, MAI, is a Senior Vice President in the Los Angeles office of PKF Consulting. A real estate appraiser since 1986, he is experienced in appraising all types of commercial and residential property, including condominiums and mixed-use projects, with special competence in the valuing of lodging and recreation properties.
In addition to being a Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI), Mr. Lugosi is state certified in California, Arizona, and Nevada, and obtains temporary licenses in other states. He is on the approved list of appraisers for over a dozen major banking institutions. He is often called upon to provide expert testimony in litigation matters, including ad valorum taxation issues. He has served as a review appraiser for the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC.) He has appraised properties all over the U.S., including both the East and West coasts and Hawaii. He has served as a real estate consultant for the firm in Asia, as well.
Mr. Lugosi holds a BS in Sociology from the University of California, San Diego and an MBA in Real Estate from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. He is frequently a guest lecturer at colleges and universities on real estate topics and is often quoted on hotel topics in the local and national press.
