John Fox is a Senior Vice President and Executive in Charge of the firm's New York office. He has been closely involved in the hotel and real estate scene in the New York metropolitan area for more than 30 years, overseeing more than a thousand market and financial studies for hotels, restaurants, and clubs.
He serves as an advisor to key owners, lenders, and developers in the Northeast. In real estate consulting, he has been engaged for projects ranging from a 1,000,000 square foot office building in New York City to mixed-use developments throughout the Eastern United States. He is often called upon as an expert witness in litigation matters. Mr. Fox is a contributor to industry publications and is regularly quoted in the New York and national press. He is a frequent lecturer on hotel financial topics at colleges and universities and at industry seminars.
Mr. Fox holds a BS from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. He is a member of, the Cornell Hotel Society of Hotelmen, and a former member of the Advisory Board of The Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism and Sports Management at New York University.
