Scott Smith, MAI Promoted to PKF Senior Vice President

Atlanta Executive Key to Growth of Southeastern and Caribbean Practice

ATLANTA, Ga., April 02, 2007 - PKF Consulting, a national hospitality consulting firm, today announced the promotion of Scott Smith, a former vice president in the firm’s Atlanta office, to senior vice president, effective April 1, 2007.

Smith joined PKF Consulting in 1998 and has been instrumental in establishing the firm’s appraisal and consulting practice throughout the region. During his career, he has worked as a real estate consultant in Southern California and has overseen projects all over the U.S., as well as in Costa Rica, Belize, Honduras, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, St. Croix, St. Kitts, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten, and Trinidad and Tobago. He joins the ranks of senior management who are also shareholders in the firm.

Smith has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, including market demand studies and litigation support assignments, in addition to valuations and appraisals. His industry experience includes hotels and resorts, mixed-use residential/hotel/office/retail projects, as well as advising on the financing and ownership of condo hotels and fractionals. He has worked with many of the major real estate hospitality lenders, owners, and management companies.

Prior to joining PKF Consulting, Smith worked for Cushman & Wakefield in Atlanta. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee, and is a Member of the Appraisal Institute.

Scott, and his wife Deborah, and their son James, live in Atlanta, Georgia.
